Software Engineer in Test

The company is looking for strong Software Engineers in Test who can work with the development team building and executing comprehensive suites of automation test plans and test cases, maintaining and adding to existing automation framework, continued evaluation of test cases for inclusion in regression, automation for newly integrated features, and development of toolsets to augment QA and Development testing. The SET will also work closely with Software Developers and other engineers in small scrum teams to deliver the highest quality products in a timely and cost- effective manner.
Responsibilities
Specific duties and responsibilities include:
Work with Hybrid Cloud Technology to develop and execute test plans and test cases with a strong emphasis on using code to solve technical challenges and shorten the test cycle through automation. Estimate test efforts, analyze and communicate test results and participate in day to day QA Activities. You will also add to our company’s performance and scalability testing efforts and improve the test frameworks, tools and technologies used by the organization to maintain a high quality bar. This can also include the writing of specialized testing tools for use in testing our software platform.
- Work with Development, Test and Product Management to design and implement test and validation strategies.
- Execute and manage test cases and results; report on test and defect metrics.
- Create, execute and troubleshoot automated test scenarios across our systems.
- Contribute to robust, scalable, and high quality test automation solutions for functional, regression and performance testing
- Contribute towards building a continuous Integration (CI) environment and our ongoing process improvement activities.
- Identify improvements in the test and development processes; make contributions to our automation tools that address specific needs.
- Maintain a high quality bar in a complex and constantly evolving workspace.
Required Skills and Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience with software testing and automated test techniques with a strong focus on quality throughout the entire software development cycle.
- Good knowledge of object oriented programming, along with requisite coding and debugging skills.
- Design and development skills in one or more of the following technologies: Python, Java, C#
- Understanding of software design principles, patterns, algorithms, data structures, and multi-threading concepts.
- Proven ability to translate functional requirements and use-cases into working test plans and test cases.
- Experience with VMware, Linux, Windows, Amazon Web Services would be a plus
- Experience building highly automated environments using virtual and cloud resources is strongly desired.
- Strong customer focus, excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Some knowledge of continuous integration practices, preferably using Jenkins/Hudson. 
- Experience working in an agile environment preferred.
- Ability to work across Windows, Linux is a plus.
- Passion for improving code quality through interaction with development team
- Demonstrated skill in using coding standards and being an active participant in code reviews

Support Engineer
This candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support on all OneCloud Products in a 24×7 environment. This individual will spend a majority of their time in contact with customers and also in the lab emulating customer problems. This position requires daily interaction with internal OneCloud personnel in an effort to quickly resolve technical product issues.
Primary Responsibilities
Specific assignments may include the following:
- Maintain customer case tracking system (Desk.com) with required information as customer calls/emails are handled. This includes updating case information in the database daily.
- Provide technical support to remote customer sites via telephone, email and/or screen-share access (GTM, RingCentral).
- Troubleshoot remote customer networks to quickly resolve issues and minimize any downtime or failure conditions.
- Utilize the lab in an effort to recreate and resolve customer issues (bugs). This includes the writing of detailed bug reports within the OneCloud Engineering JIRA Database.
- Verify and test new hardware/software per specific customer requirements.
- Create documentation and action plans for system upgrades and troubleshooting projects.
- Develop expertise in specific areas (i.e. technology, product). Transfer this skill in order to educate colleagues and/or customers via presentations or documentation (technical tips, etc…).
- Work closely with customer operations personnel and OneCloud Sales, Engineering and Management personnel.
- Provide after-hours technical support on a rotational schedule.
- Participate in status meetings and reviews as required.
- Perform approx. 10-15% travel to OneCloud customer locations.
Qualifications
- BS in Engineering/Computer Science and/or equivalent experience
- 3-6 years experience in the networking/computer industry
- Experience with troubleshooting enterprise virtual appliances in VMware/Hyper-V environments
- Strong knowledge of IP protocol including ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, IPSEC and SNMP, etc…
- Good understanding of related TCP based enterprise applications such as SharePoint, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, DNS and various Backup/Replication software.
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (S3,EC2,VPC) and troubleshooting cloud instances
- Knowledge of UNIX/Linux (Redhat, FreeBSD, etc…) Operating Systems.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Knowledge of configuring routers and firewall (Cisco, Juniper, etc…)
- Experience with Ethernet analyzers (Wireshark), WAN simulators and traffic generators.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Java Software Engineer
Responsibilities
- Have excellent communication skills to interact and work with UX and infrastructure teams to develop a coherent design for backend web services that control the OneCloud platform.
- Be able to evaluate, adopt and implement appropriate open source technologies to match the products/technology requirements.
- Must be able to achieve the high standards for code quality, testing and code review in an iterative goal oriented development lifecycle.
Required Skills and Experience
- 2-5 years experience
- In-depth knowledge for the Java programming language
- Experience with multi-threaded concepts and implementation
- Knowledge of application-level patterns and concepts (e.g. RESTful, NoSQL, etc…)
- Preferred experience with various Java frameworks (e.g. Spring, Akka, J2EE, etc…)
Regional Sales Director
Locations

Responsibilities
- Strategize with VP Sales to implement a sales execution plan for the assigned region
- Provide leadership for target account opportunities with support from regional SE, inside sales and extended internal support and delivery resources.
- Accurately forecast sales opportunities, and maintain accurate opportunity details in salesforce.com (company’s selected CRM solution)
- Recruit and develop a strong network of channel partners (MSPs and Resellers) in the assigned region
- Support and collaborate as required to drive business through strategic partners and alliances
- Communicate effectively with account team(s) and other internal resources, as well as with partners and end-customers, demonstrating professionalism and integrity in all cases
- Represent OneCloud at seminars and trade shows as required
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 10+ years of field-based software sales experience in the enterprise account market, with experience also developing effective channel and alliance partnerships

- Effectively present solution value proposition, demonstrate and implement software

- Represent OneCloud Software at seminars and tradeshows
- Lead product demonstrations and presentations
- Deploy and support customers with OneCloud’s software.
Required Skills and Experience
- Customer-facing experience as system engineer required
- Understanding of the infrastructure components and customer management / roles (operations, infrastructure, engineering) in an enterprise data center environment
- 6+ years of system, network, or storage administration with experience in storage and desktop virtualization, preferably as a field applications engineer supporting sales to OEMs and end users.
- Understanding of desktop virtualization technologies (VMware, Citrix/Xen, Microsoft, others)
- Understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google, others) with hands on experience beneficial
- Experience with software APIs
